Since these mods only work for certain damage types, there’s a good chance that these mods require a specific affinity to go on your helmet. If you’re someone who decides to change their loadout and just so happens to switch damage types, you’ll need to Masterwork your helmet again every time you switch weapons . That’s tremendously inconvenient and compounds the mod swapping problems builds already deal with. And if you’re a newer player who can’t afford to Masterwork a helmet, you’ll need to spend multiple Cores and Prisms every time you switch guns. This stifles build variety for no reason, and I seriously hope the Orb mods don’t behave this way.
This makes it perhaps the most effective ad-clear weapon in the entire game, including its ease of use. Even shooting in the general area around an enemy creates massive damage, making the ease of use among the best in the game. Plus, it feels pretty good to use. This weapon is a random world drop, or available through
Certain division ranks of Strange Favor will unlock a reward from Xur at his Treasure Trove. If you reach rank 16, you can reset your Strange Favor to reset Xur's offerings. Unlike other reputation systems, you can only reset your Strange Favor five times per sea
Even if the Orb mods turn out to be a great change, there’s still one more aspect of mod bloat that needs to change: acquiring mods. Unlocking mods in Destiny 2 Cheats is wholly tied to RNG. If you are looking for a specific ammo finder mod, you’ll need to get lucky by decrypting Engrams or hope Ada-1 sells it one day. You shouldn’t bet on the latter, as Ada-1’s mod inventory has gotten so bloated that it can take multiple months before she sells what you need. Worse, she’s your only source of Charged with Light and Warmind Cell mods. If you want to make a Firepower grenade build or use Protective Light, you need to check her inventory every single day and hope she eventually sells it. Better hope you don’t miss it, or you’ll be waiting months for another chance.
It appears that Essence of Dawning no longer drops from Lost Sectors. The best farm for this resource is arguably Wrathborn Hunts , dropping 15 Essence a clear. Each hunt takes a minute at most to finish, so this is a relatively quick way of getting enough Essence to make a few treats. Snowballs spawn in Wrathborn Hunts too, perfect for completing one of Eva's weekly bount
Strange Engrams are effectively Legendary Engrams, granting anything from the world loot pool. The Strange Key and Anomalous Access Card are both tied to the Forerunner Exotic Sidearm. Check out our Forerunner guide to learn more about what these items
It's almost goofy how many incredible perks Ace has built into it. The "Memento Mori" perk provides a permanent damage boost from any kill, precision shots create a Firefly effect, and the catalyst further increases its damage. On top of that, it has great aim assist and base stats to make slaying guardians even easier. This hand cannon will no doubt remain dominant in PvP for years to c
If you don't want to specifically farm for ingredients, complete bounties from Eva Levante. Each bounty gives a random ingredient type and Dawning Spirit. Ultimately, as long as you're actively playing Destiny 2, ingredients shouldn't be an is
Destiny’s reliance on armor mods is starting to become an issue. It has been a growing pain that you need certain mods to even attempt endgame content—notably Protective Light and Champion mods. Champion mods always go on your arms, so the unique ability-centric mods that typically go there are seldom used. It’s hard to justify using Impact Induction when all endgame content has two Champion types present.
It also has a great catalyst that speeds up the charge time, making it easier to hit those critical shots and increasing DPS. Although "Particle Deconstruction" goes away at the end of the season, it's safe to say this will remain dominant. With this weapon added to the tower kiosk, there's no reason not to pick it up for endgame cont

In a recent This Week at Bungie blog post , Bungie revealed that Masterworked weapons would no longer generate Orbs of Power. Instead, players will now have to install an armor mod on their helmet to re-enable this functionality on some __ guns, determined by damage type. Does your loadout use Void and Solar weapons? You’ll need to give up not one but two mod slots in your build. Like using Kinetic weapons too? Enjoy the compromise. While this does allow Exotics without catalysts the ability to generate Orbs, this change perpetuates an issue that’s been plaguing Destiny for nearly a year: mod bloat.
Once you’ve been rescued by a team of compassionate veterans, you’ll be greeted to the barren wastes of the Cosmodrome to get acquainted with Destiny 2’s gunplay and abilities, completing two story missions in the process. An NPC called Shaw Han then gives you a rundown on how to do bounties—yes, bounties. Just about every aspect of Destiny’s storytelling has been exposition up to this point, so most players aren’t going to be interested in killing 30 Fallen in some Cosmodrome Lost Sector. They might not even know what the hell a Lost Sector is. If someone uninstalled during this point, I wouldn’t blame them at all.
