_Developer Comments: After the last update, Bastion became a little too difficult to deal with, so we’re reducing his new passive to give enemies more opportunities to counter. _ Jun
As millions of players tried to get online, the games servers were quickly overwhelmed. Many people couldn't log in, some couldn't even get to the character creation stage, and a few found issues with activities such as jobs and ra
On PC, meanwhile, many players couldn't even get that far. On EA's support forums , over 700 people said that they'd had problems with getting the game to launch as instead of launching, it would just provide them with an empty black box that crashed and sent them back to their desk
You mentioned that there were classic things and animations that you were wary of changing, where do you draw that line? How do you figure out what people considered to be the classic experience and what you might need to change?
"Cheers love, the cavalry's here!" If you're one of the 25 million people that have played Blizzard's Overwatch , that line and many others like it will be permanently burned in your brain. Unless you've been living under a hermetically sealed rock, you shouldn't need us to tell you that the game has been a massive hit since it launched last year and has garnered widespread praise from critics and gamers alike. It also spawned a huge and dedicated global fan community that have pored over the lore, taken part in every special event and created swaths of fan-art and creations inspired by the fps game money Guide (some more "interesting" than others, but we'll get to that). Character D.Va even inspired a real-life feminist movement in South Korea. How many other video games can say t
As spoiled as Overwatch fans may be, there are a few legitimate concerns and complaints that have resonated throughout the community, and many fans hope the Overwatch team continues to deliver by addressing these issues in the coming year. This list won't be too concerned with 'nerfing Symmetra' or 'buffing Winston' as Overwatch is really good about making slight adjustments to their characters over time, and measuring their overall performance, but will instead focus on elements of the game that players either simply want more of or have found to be troubling for some time now. These are 18 Changes Overwatch Fans Want In 20
Let's be honest, when Overwatch fans complain, it's with a grain of salt. We've got it pretty good. Blizzard is known for listening to their community and responding quickly to dissatisfaction or unintended consequences, while always keeping their fans informed. Overwatch 's development team is no different. It's like they are themselves an elite global task force recruited with one common goal: to deliver a fun and competitive gaming experie
Theobold played Ivy Stuart, a maid who joined the regular cast midway through season three. The character stuck around through season four before Cara left to pursue other opportunities. Since then, she has starred in episodes of Call the Midwife and The Syndicate, as well as the lead role in the underrated Netflix Original series Crazyhead . Apparently, Tracer's oh-so-British tones were supposed to be more of an authentic London Cockney accent, but Blizzard changed their mind and went for the cheery "cor blimey guv'nor" voice after the audition proc
Billed as an explosive finale to Rocksteady Studios' Batman: Arkham trilogy, Batman: Arkham Knight has been making the headlines for all of the wrong reasons these past few weeks. The game worked fine on consoles, but on PC it was an entirely different story. Immediately upon launch, PC Arkham Knight players began to report huge framerate issues that persisted whenever Batman mo
I looked over at Brian Raffel, our studio head, and we just kind of smiled at each other and we nodded and for me it was just so gratifying to hear the response that we felt for so long. When this project was first proposed I don't think there was a single person at Raven that wasn't like 'yes yes we want to do this. Absolutely we're all in.' That's very exciting right? It's also many moons ago that we started on this, and we knew we had something good and something fun but we didn't know know. Until you get in front of gamers you're not really gonna know. So today's reveal was king of the hold our breaths for a little bit, and the applause and the excitement; it resonated and I kept smiling most of the morning because of it. I got an opportunity to go and take pictures and the lines were long afterwards and I was like 'they screamed and in a good way, and the lines are long so they really meant it.' So I did a little bit of walking around and listening to people. So that was a fun thing for me to get on my break was a chance to hear what people thought. So I think it went pretty well, social media seems to be going pretty well for us too.
