**Overwatch ** is a game about diversity in hero selection, and everyone has their own personal favorite. Some people may play heroes near the bottom of this list. That doesn't mean that they are bad players; it only means that the hero may not be the strong
Orisa is the newest hero to reach the Overwatch world, but many consider her to be too weak. It's still a bit early to determine how effective her kit is, but general fan perception is that she's under-powered. If Blizzard was trying to break the mold with Sombra, they did the exact opposite with Or
Blizzard Entertainment released patch notes and information on a new update that is now available in the game's Public Test Region on PC. Specifically, the new update addresses some balance changes with certain Heroes, such as Roadhog's hook being a bit more balanced, while Ana, D.Va, and Sombra also have some changes in p
Sombra is one of the newest heroes that has been introduced to the game, and many consider her to be the weakest. The only reason that she's not at the bottom of this list is her ultimate. Shields are one of the most important elements in the game right now, and Sombra's ability to neutralize all shields by pressing a button makes her slightly more useful than some of the other heroes in this tier. On top of that, her ultimate has one of the easiest charges in the FPS Game Story Guide, allowing her to swing team fights in her team's fa
On PC, meanwhile, many players couldn't even get that far. On EA's support forums , over 700 people said that they'd had problems with getting the game to launch as instead of launching, it would just provide them with an empty black box that crashed and sent them back to their desk
After several weeks in the Public Test Region, Overwatch 's character roster has expanded with the newly-added tank Orisa, while the game is also seeing various new updates this week that is sure to entice players into jumping into the game and seeing what has been added or alte
Since its release in May last year, Overwatch has dominated competitive play with a passionate fanbase and continued updates on its character, with the game's latest balance changes offering some tweaks for a few of the game's Her
The presence of an enemy Symmetra can be irksome, but a Winston on a coordinated team can virtually neutralize most of her efficacy. There are a few characters who can bypass or handle her turrets, which is one of the main reasons a player picks Symmetra in the first place. Overall, Symmetra has her uses but is not the best choice in many situati
But playing the game, and exploring its supernatural lands proved to be quite difficult for PS3 players. This was down to an issue in which the game's cache quickly fills up after just one hour of playtime. The longer someone plays Skyrim on PS3, the more that will fill up and the more the game will slow d
After a busy month of post-holiday catch-up as well as enjoying the full Portal 2 co-op campaign with a friend who is a little behind on the video game release schedule, I'm finally able to... do more catch-up. Much like in January, for the majority of this month I'll be continuing to quest in Skyrim - that is until one of my favorite game franchises returns with a second (well, version 1.5 type sequel) installment. The original (and notoriously underplayed) Alan Wake is still one of my favorite games of this generation - and I can't wait to journey back into the night for Alan Wake's American Nightmare . That said, in between Alan Wake and Skyrim play sessions, I'll one again be testing my virtual mettle on the SSX slopes. I spent a lot of hours perfecting my runs in SSX: Tricky and am eager, and hopeful, that the SSX reboot will deliver the same challenge and highflying
Star Wars: The Old Republic is at the top of my list (and will continue to be for some time) but now that I've finally taken the plunge into picking up a legitimate gaming PC, there's a good chance I'll try my hand at Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2 to see what all the graphical buzz was about. SSX will absolutely be seeing some of my time after the science behind the game left me stunned, and the impending release of the Mass Effect 3 demo means putting off all that Mass Effect 2 DLC just won't do. Shepard, here I c
This is the smallest change, but oh so beneficial. Currently on console, auto-joining teamchat is turned off by default. All Overwatch players on console want is to have it turned on be default. For a game that takes a lot of team cooperation to win an objective, it's essential that the players be able to communicate. On PC, it's fairly simple to press 'p' and click from 'Group Chat' to 'Team Chat.' But on the console, it's not so simple, where you have to navigate through several menus each time. And if you join a match with some players already grouped, it's almost impossible to communicate to them asking them to switch. On PC, you can always just type and ask your teammates to hop in the right chat, on console, there just isn't time. This results in a lot gifs that look like this , with players having to pantomime yes's and no's to get their point across. Entertaining? Yes. But not all that good for you if you're trying to
