This is all with the threat of the Reapers looming over you. The farther in you go, the closer you get to the Reapers wiping everything around you out. In Andromeda, everything is an unknown and your resources aren't what they were in the Milky Way. It doesn't have twists quite as nasty as the original trilogy, but it isn't great for the Angara .
The facts are very simple - this is a PS4 game we’re being told not to play on the PS4. Scratch that, it’s a triple-A PS4 game with a huge hype cycle and massive marketing campaign that we’re being told not to play on PS4. You can still buy it, of course. I don’t know if the PS Store can detect the difference between a PS4 and a PS4 Pro, but putting out a tweet essentially saying "you can buy this, but don’t," is horrifically anti-consumer. There are definitely players who are going to buy this on their regular PS4s - PS5s are notoriously hard to get and for literally every other game, the standard PS4 works. I know, I had the base version of the console last gen and had zero issues with its performance aside from it running a little loud. These players will be buying it because if they want to play cyberpunk 2077 updates 2077, they have no other options, and they might not have even seen the tweet telling them not to. It’s reasonable for a player to assume that if a game is available to buy on the PS4, it will work on the PS4. We should be outraged that CDPR and Sony are selling these folk an unplayable experie
Silicon Dreams tackles some big philosophical questions and does so with a deft hand. The dialogue between yourself and the androids you interrogate is well written - save for some spelling errors here and there - and has quite a few twists and turns along the way. Each android has a unique personality that makes you feel conflicted about what to do with them. They all act like real people even though they've completely synthetic. Kronos will give you mission briefings that often have some rather cold-hearted requirements such as deleting their memories or melting androids down for scrap. You'll find yourself forced to put an android to death because they've been watching too many movies or they have a faulty arm joint. By the end of the game, I was feeling pretty damn gui
The new expansion, Phantom Liberty , introduces players to a whole new borough of Night City called Dogtown . Players gain access to this area after completing the quests associated with the Voodoo Boys, following which they can find out about a section of Pacifica that is somehow even more riddled with crime and debauchery than the rest of the distr
'Anti-consumer' is a phrase used a lot in gaming, and not always accurately. It's not anti-consumer that Nintendo doesn't support Smash Melee tournaments, for example, and while locking story content behind DLC is awfully money grubbing, I'm not sure it's technically 'anti-consumer'. Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 undoubtedly is, however. It's a PS4 game being sold on PS4 while the PS4 makers tell you not to play it on the PS4. I know we're all bored of talking about Cyberpunk 2077 by now, but this seems to be sneaking under the radar. It's disgraceful that our industry allows it, and it's a worrying sign of the growing divide between the players and the suits out to make a quick b
However, modder Crazy Potato has solved this frustration with the Chrome Female V Mod , which allows V to flaunt futuristic chrome skin that looks not only crazy, but quite appealing, as well—in a weird, far-future way, that is. The only downside to this mod is that V’s breasts seem to pop out of her clothes whenever this mod is activated, though weird issues like that are more-or-less par for the course for the g
Night City is more of a unique case, however. It is the only territory that officially owns the title of "Free City." It is officially not part of any state, nor does it belong to any country. Night City is its own entity, and by 2077, it is mostly run by the Arasaka megacorporat
Bioshock is a gaming classic due to its dark underwater setting. In the game, you dive into Rapture, a once-bustling metropolis that has now fallen apart. You play as Jack, a man who thinks he is visiting Rapture for the first time, which is later revealed to be a false truth.
Dexter DeShawn makes a strong impression when he's introduced. The fixer sets up V and their gang for the heist of a lifetime during the game's prologue, with V being tasked with stealing a valuable package from Arasaka that turns out to be the relic for Johnny Silverhand's eng
Night City is as dystopian a city as can be. It might be a beautiful urban sprawl at times, but that doesn't help anyone who stays in this area and is constantly exposed to its hardships time and time ag
The Outer Worlds is a quirky game made by Obsidian with a lot of comedy. Under the jokes and sharp dialogue, though, is a sad world on the brink of falling apart. As the "hero" of the story, you must choose how you want to deal with the dark problems plaguing the galaxy you now call home.
